Value of Oncology CME

In this video, Naiyer Rizvi, MD, director of thoracic oncology and immunotherapeutics at Columbia University Medical Center, discusses the importance of oncology continuing medical education (CME). He presses upon how “the landscape is changing so rapidly” and how oncologists need to stay informed. In the past, most major breakthroughs would be presented once a year at conferences like the American Society of Clinical Oncology, but this is no longer the case. Since oncology is evolving so quickly, it is important to continuously update the current state of knowledge in the field of oncology.
