NYGU 2018 Volume 2 - A Message From the Chair

A Message From the Chair

Leonard G. Gomella, MD, FACS

It’s almost time for us to meet again. In just a few weeks’ time the 11th Annual New York GU™ conference will be here. This Interdisciplinary Prostate Cancer Congress and Other Genitourinary Malignancies meeting is one of the best continuing medical education has to offer. Truly, it is your one stop update to all things GU.

This year’s meeting is better than ever. New York GU™ is focused on providing you with the most applicable updates in the management of GU cancers. What you learn here over the weekend, you’ll be able to use in clinic on Monday! Our educational programming is always grounded in data, but distilled, refined, and contextualized to try to make your job easier

As a healthcare provider and oncologist, you provide lifesaving care at a time when patients need it the most. We know how stressful and busy that can be. Simply put, this meeting wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t a benefit to you and your patients.

I hope to see you in New York as we take on the latest challenges and advancements in our field. For your patients with prostate cancer, urothelial carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, and everything else under the GU umbrella, we can’t wait to advance patient care, together.
