Physicians' Education Resource® Presents 35th Annual CFS® Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium Innovative Cancer Therapy for Tomorrow®

CRANBURY, N.J.--Physicians’ Education Resource® (PER®), the leading resource for oncology and hematology continuing medical education (CME), is proud to present this year’s CFS® Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City, from Nov. 8 to 10. The program will highlight all aspects of cancer care including diagnostic, therapeutic and supportive strategies.

“As the historic CFS® meeting continues to grow and evolve, we are excited to welcome two new co-chairs to help shape the educational content and format. We have never seen oncology advance as rapidly as it is today, and together we will educate clinicians on the latest developments in cancer care – including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, genomics, testing and supportive care,” said PER® President Phil Talamo.

CFS® Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium: Innovative Cancer Therapy for Tomorrow® will offer medical professionals information about the recent changes in the management of solid and hematologic malignancies. This year, the returning chair Benjamin Levy, M.D., clinical director of medical oncology at Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. , will be joined by Adam M. Brufsky, M.D., Ph.D., professor of medicine, associate chief, Division of Hematology/Oncology, co-director Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center, associate, director of clinical investigation at University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh; and William Oh, M.D., chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, professor of medicine and urology; and Ezra M. Greenspan, M.D. professor in clinical cancer therapeutics, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, associate director of clinical research, The Tisch Cancer Institute in New York.

Each year CFS® Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium: Innovative Cancer Therapy for Tomorrow® brings together more than 2,000 oncologists, hematologists, radiation oncologists, immunologists, pharmacists, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and case managers to improve patient outcomes in multiple lines of care by offering state-of-the-art cancer care education. The internationally renowned faculty will offer insights and analytics about the latest progressions in cancer treatments.
