Physicians' Education Resource® to Host 10th Annual Interdisciplinary Prostate Cancer Congress® and Other Genitourinary Malignancies

Physicians’ Education Resource® (PER®) will host the 10th Annual Interdisciplinary Prostate Cancer Congress® and Other Genitourinary Malignancies on March 18, at Crowne Plaza Time Square Manhattan. The program will be led by co-chairs Dr. Daniel P. Petylak, director of Prostate and GU Medical Oncology and director of Prostate Cancer Translational Research Program Yale Cancer Center in New Haven, Connecticut, and Dr. Leonard G. Gomella, chairman of Department of Urology and clinical director of Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center Network at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

The one-day educational meeting’s focal point will be on key clinical topics in the management of genitourinary malignancies, including prognostic/ predictive markers in care, proactive methods to mitigate predictable treatment-related side effects, optimal use of chemotherapeutic strategies, androgen-deprivation therapies, targeted therapies, radiopharmaceuticals and immunotherapies, as well as exploring emerging data on various combinations and sequences of treatment strategies currently undergoing clinical trial evaluation. Additionally, this conference will discuss the latest data in GU malignancies, including prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancers.
