Accomplished Medical Communications Professional to Support Growth of Company's Continuing Medical Education Programming

Perlmutter brings over 15 years of CME experience to PER®, most recently from Quintiles Medical Education, where as Medical Director he was responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and timeliness of medical content for Quintiles' continuing educational programs. Perlmutter maintains extensive experience working with faculty to develop educational programming in oncology, including initiatives focused on the management of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, as well as supportive care issues that impact the treatment of patients with cancer. An outcomes-focused executive, Perlmutter possesses a deep understanding of the best methods for effectively conveying a wide variety of CME initiatives.
Perlmutter also served as the scientific director for Interphase, A Division of KnowledgePoint360 Group, LLC (formerly Thomson Medical Education); medical writer for Strategic Implications International, a company of Cardinal Health Healthcare Marketing Services; and associate medical director for Churchill Communications. He is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and a regular attendee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual conference.
Perlmutter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences (Livingston College), a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (College of Pharmacy) and a Doctor of Pharmacy (College of Pharmacy) from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, as well as a Masters of Medical Science from Hahnemann University Graduate School.
