Community Practice Connections™: 5th Annual School of Nursing Oncology™

Release Date: October 29, 2021
Expiration Date: October 29, 2022

Activity Overview

Millions of people are diagnosed with cancer each year. For many years, available treatments were limited, and patient outcomes were less than ideal. Over the past several years, a greater understanding of the biology of these diseases has led to development of new and emerging agents that have revolutionized the treatment of these malignancies.

This Community Practice Connections™ program provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from the 5th Annual School of Nursing OncologyTM, held in August 2021. This unique, engaging, multimedia activity is ideal for the community-based clinician and focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, or non-small cell lung cancer, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learnings for those who did.
