Community Practice Connections™: Navigating Treatment Options for HER2+ Breast Cancer Across the Disease Continuum: An Expert Tumor Board Discussion

Release Date: January 31, 2021
Expiration Date: January 31, 2022

Activity Overview

For patients with both early-stage and advanced/metastatic HER2+ breast cancer, treatment with HER2-targeted therapies has been shown to improve both short- and long-term survival. Over the past few years, results from pivotal trials and new regulatory approvals have expanded therapeutic options. Treatment paradigms are rapidly evolving in both (neo)adjuvant and metastatic settings. Several promising new HER2-targeted agents are in late-phase clinical trials, providing additional options for patients with relapsed/refractory disease.

This Community Practice Connections™ program provides an in-depth review of several key highlights from the Navigating Treatment Options for HER2+ Breast Cancer Across the Disease Continuum: An Expert Tumor Board Discussion satellite symposium, held in December 2020. This unique and engaging multimedia activity is directed toward the community-based clinician and focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with HER2+ breast cancer, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learnings for those who did.
