Activity Overview
This online activity is designed to provide concise and easy-to-digest education in an engaging and interactive case-based format. The case focuses on therapy aimed at reducing the frequency and severity of vaso-occlusive pain crises associated with sickle cell disease and well as monitoring for and detecting disease complications. The engaging format of this program includes interactive clinical decision points with explanations at the end of the activity, and an evidence-based review supporting the teaching points covered in the case.
