Overview

Inhibiting signaling pathways with targeted agents has redefined the paradigm of care through multiple lines of therapy in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). To date, several agents—from monoclonal antibodies, to B cell–receptor and BCL2 inhibitors, to immunomodulators—have been approved for CLL, while additional therapies are currently in development. The rapid pace and sheer volume of therapeutic advances that continue to emerge in the treatment of CLL makes it challenging for clinicians who strive to maintain state-of-the-art care for their patients to keep up with evolving data and apply it to their practices.

This activity will update oncology health care professionals on the most recent data from key abstracts presented at major cancer conferences and place it in clinical context, so that they can assess and apply these findings to their clinical practice and ultimately improve care for their patients with CLL.

Benefits of Attending

  • Hear primary investigators present their findings from recent oncology conferences.
  • Understand the clinical impact of recent data, and learn how to apply it to your practice.
  • Submit your questions to the expert faculty panel.

  • Identify patient and disease factors that aid in personalizing approaches to care for patients with CLL.
  • Determine patient characteristics from recently reported and ongoing clinical trials conducted among patients with CLL.
  • Evaluate safety and efficacy data from recent clinical trials that impact practice in the care of patients with CLL.
  • Place recent clinical trial results in their proper clinical context given evolving treatment paradigms in CLL management.
